Weather in Dallas: Early rain shouldn't put a damper on Halloween plans

Storms moved through North Texas Thursday morning, but the weather shouldn't put a damper on your trick-or-treating plans.

The day started wet, but it will be mostly sunny with northerly winds, drier air and highs of 70°.

The evening is ideal for trick-or-treating.

In the evening temperatures drop to over 60°C.

7 day forecast

Temperatures will continue to fall until Friday morning.

On the morning of November 1st, temperatures will drop into the 50s.

As the week ends and the weekend begins, we will see another series of riots.

The air will be warm and humid on Saturday. We should see at least a few showers and storms during the day.

Some of the downpours could be heavy.

The next system will move from the Rocky Mountains to Texas on Monday.

It appears to be a strong storm line with severe weather potential. We will have more information as Monday approaches.

The storms should have subsided by Election Day on Tuesday, so it will be nice to vote outside!
