Wendy's just launched a new meal for McDonald's

The countdown to Halloween is on and all of our favorite fast food chains got in on the spooky fun this year. Dunkin' Donuts released a delicious menu that included the coveted Halloween Munchkins bucket, McDonald's brought back its nostalgic Boo Buckets, and Burger King even released a menu inspired by “The Addams Family” that featured churros and a Morticia milkshake filled with cookies.

Not to mention, Wendy's recently brought back its Frosty Frights Kids' Meal and is now adding another Halloween-inspired option to the lineup.

Wendy's brings The Boo! to the market bag meal

Starting October 21st, customers can get their hands on a limited edition Wendy's Boo! Pocket meal at participating locations while supplies last. The boo! The bag meal offers adults all the benefits of a children's meal, but with larger portions and some added bonuses. The meal includes a Dave's Single, a small portion of fries, a small chocolate Frosty – and yes, even a toy. Think of it like a kid's meal, but for kids And Adult.

Each meal comes with a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure and a Boo! Book voucher package. The offer book is valid through December 31st and includes coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats and a bonus $1.99 kids meal coupon. The coupon book can also be purchased separately for just $1, making it the perfect addition to your homemade gift baskets for family and friends. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

In an Instagram post announcing the meal, food reviewer @Snackolator shared his thoughts on the new menu addition. “This is one of my favorite fast food promotions – this one is just so well done!” they wrote.

Some commentators believe that the Boo! Bag Meal offers redemption for its collaboration with Wendy's Spongebob, which disappointed many fans due to its lack of special packaging and disappointing launch. “This is their support to cover up the Krabby Patty (meal). I can’t 100% deny it,” one Instagram commenter wrote. “They screwed up the Krabby Patty meal, I don't trust them anymore,” added another Instagrammer (whose comment received over 250 likes).

Just a warning – this Boo! Bags may be difficult to track. Despite the nationwide rollout, many customers report that their local stores have not heard of the promotion or are referring to the items as different meals. Some were unable to offer the special bag and toy even though they were in stock. Also, Boo! Bags are not yet showing up in the Wendy's app or online ordering system. But don't worry, some lucky fans were actually able to get their hands on the new meal, meaning it's probably just a slow rollout.

Be sure to call your local Wendy's restaurant to see if they are participating in the promotion before heading to the drive-thru.
