Now that October and the spooky season are over, Fortnitemares is time for another Fortnite live event to keep you busy until the holiday season begins.

The mysterious and cryptic live event “Remix: The Prelude” arrives for players today, November 1st.

Here's what we know about the Fortnite Remix live event and how you can start playing right away.

What time does the Fortnite live event take place?

Fortnite's newest live event, “Remix: The Prelude,” begins Friday, November 1st at 3:30 p.m. for Arizonans and those on the West Coast.

You can find the countdown to the live event either in the lobby or at Restored Reels.

When does the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Live Event take place?

“Remix: The Prelude” will work similarly to other Fortnite live events.

Battle Royal and Zero Build, for example, typically go offline two hours before an event begins – that's 1:30 p.m. for Arizonans – so nothing gets in the way of the event going live.

As for the start, the event starts at 3:30 p.m. However, you should join the event at least 30 minutes in advance, if not earlier if capacity is limited as with previous events.

What is the Remix on Fortnite?

According to the Fortnite wiki page, “Remix: The Prelude is a storyline event in Fortnite's Battle Royal and marks the official end of Chapter 5: Season 4.”

While Epic Games has been pretty secretive about exactly what's in store for this new live event, they teased on social media on October 30 that a “big change is coming,” along with a photo of an iridescent butterfly.

Meanwhile, according to Polygon.com, players have been excitedly sharing glimpses of the game, and with that comes rumors about what might be coming to the event.
