With just five days until the general election on November 5th, the presidential race is imminent.

The battle for the White House in 2024 remains a dead heat between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. A Reuters/Ipsos poll on Tuesday showed the Democrat leading among registered voters nationally by just 44% to 43%, well within the poll's margin of error.

In order to leave nothing to chance in the final phase of the campaign, both candidates will be in Arizona on Thursday to strengthen support in the battleground state. The vice president will host a rally in Phoenix with musical guest Los Tigres del Norte, while the former president and Tucker Carlson will host a “hurricane relief event” in Glendale.

Arizona is a must-win for both campaigns since President Joe Biden defeated Trump by the narrowest margin in the country four years ago, winning by fewer than 11,000 votes, according to the Arizona Republic, part of the USA TODAY network.

The vice president will then travel to Las Vegas to reach out to undecided Latino voters alongside Jennifer Lopez and Maná, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.

Lopez, a Puerto Rican, is expected to speak about the importance of voting and why she and other high-profile Latinos, including Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny, supported Harris. Her comments follow a comic joke comparing the US territory to a “floating island of trash” at Trump's rally at New York's famed Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Governor Walz will travel to Bucks County and Erie, Pennsylvania on Thursday and return to Michigan on Friday to campaign in Detroit, Flint and Traverse City.

Both Harris and Trump will return to the Badger State on Friday with dueling rallies in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal reports.

In the final weekend before Election Day, Harris is expected to return to Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday to hold a final rally in the Peachtree State before heading to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the last day of early voting in the state before November. 5.
