Where the teams stand heading into the Division Series

The Dodgers remain the World Series favorites heading into the Division Series round, but the New York Yankees are hot on their heels.

Los Angeles is at +350 at DraftKings Sportsbook and has won everything as of Friday afternoon, just a touch ahead of the Bronx Bombers, who are at +370.

The pair has company in the top three – the Phillies aren't far off their mark at +450 when they face the Mets in a best-of-five set.

The surging Padres, looking to pull off an upset of the Dodgers during the NLDS, are at +650.

The Royals and Guardians, the Yankees' biggest competition in the youth ranks in the eyes of oddsmakers, are at +850.

DraftKings has the Tigers and Mets at +950 as the best players to win the World Series.

Before the wild card round, the Yankees had been heavy favorites in the American League, but faced stiff competition on the odds boards from the Astros and Orioles.

Both teams were upset, allowing the Bombers to become even bigger favorites on that side of the bracket.

The Dodgers also got a little help when the Braves were eliminated, but their two biggest rivals – the Phillies and Padres – remain alive.

The Dodgers and Yankees have remained World Series favorites since spring training, with both teams ranked among the top five contenders on the season.
