Where to stream The Wild Robot, the best family film of 2024?

While it's still available to see in theaters, as is the case with most releases these days, The Wild Robot has now made its way to home streaming for purchase or rental. Although both options are quite expensive.

“The Wild Robot” is easily the best all-ages family film of the year with an absolutely impressive 98% critic and 98% audience rating, something we almost never see outside of classics like “Toy Story” or “Finding Nemo.” . Now you can watch at home if you don't want to drag your kids to the theater. Now that I have a child of my own, I can't blame you. Here's where you can rent or buy it:

Why does the Apple TV rental fee cost $5 more than the others? I have no idea, so you'll probably want to choose a different one based on which storefront you prefer. The rental period is usually only 48 hours from the time you start watching the film. Since it's a great movie and kids often enjoy watching it millions of times, you might want to spend the extra $10 to keep it permanently. If there's a film worth watching, it's probably this one.

“The Wild Robot” has grossed $149 million worldwide so far, but is still playing in many theaters. The budget was $78 million. A sequel is already in the works, and if you think it's a movie that doesn't need a sequel and you're just trying to get more out of it, then The Wild Robot is a three-part book series. That's it at least a trilogy. Given that this is actually Dreamworks' best-received film, they will no doubt want to adapt the entire film. Here is an official summary:

“Can a robot survive in the wild? When Robot Roz opens her eyes for the first time, she finds that she is alone on a remote, wild island. She has no idea how she got there or what her purpose is – but she knows she must survive.”

I would also watch the trailer, which is quite emotional in just a few minutes and reflects what everyone seems to love about the film:

So you can't go wrong watching this film, whether you have children or not. It's a great film and hopefully there will be two more great films to come.
