Who do oddsmakers see as the favorite to win college hockey in 2024-25? -Grand Forks Herald

GRAND FORKS – UND opens the regular season with the US Hockey Hall of Fame Game against Providence at Ralph Engelstad Arena on Saturday at 6:07 p.m.

According to oddsmakers, the Fighting Hawks and Friars are among the top 11 contenders to win the 2025 NCAA national championship.

DraftKings Sportsbook has released futures odds for the college hockey season.

Boston College is their +500 favorite to win the NCAA national title, followed by Minnesota (+800), Denver (+900), Michigan (+1100), Michigan State (+1200) and Boston University (+1200) .

UND has the seventh best odds at +1300.

Providence has the eleventh best odds at +2200.

Other odds for National Collegiate Hockey Conference teams include Western Michigan at +1800, St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth at +2500, Omaha and Arizona State at +3500, Colorado College at +5000 and Miami at +20000.

The longest odds published by DraftKings include Yale, Robert Morris, Brown and Army at +50000.

No odds are listed for Princeton, Stonehill, Lindenwood or St. Thomas. The Tommies are ineligible to play in the NCAA Tournament as a transitional Division III program.

The NCAA Frozen Four will take place April 10-12 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
