Oklahoma State at BYU (Friday, 10:15 p.m.)

Oklahoma State entered the season as a trendy pick to win the Big 12. Instead, BYU enters this matchup as a contender for the automatic CFP award.

The Cougars (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) are tied atop the conference standings with Iowa State and Texas Tech.

Nebraska at Indiana (noon)

It's no surprise that Oregon and Penn State are tough opponents on Ohio State's schedule, but the Huskers and Hoosiers have established themselves as sneaky contenders in the Big Ten.

With Michigan struggling, Indiana or Nebraska could be the toughest home game for Ohio State this year.

Miami at Louisville (noon)

Miami is worth watching, and not just because the Hurricanes are the favorites to win the ACC.

The third weekend in October always features one of college football's best rivalry games. This year there is an additional level.

The loser between Alabama and Tennessee could be in danger of missing the CFP.

Michigan at Illinois (3:30 p.m.)

Since the start of the 2021 season, Michigan has been ranked in the AP poll every week. That could change on Sunday when the No. 24 Wolverines lose to the Illini.

LSU at Arkansas (7 p.m.)

After a thrilling win over Ole Miss on Saturday, LSU has gotten back into the CFP discussion. Will this win put the Tigers in danger of disappointment this week?

Arkansas is undefeated at home, highlighted by a 19-14 win over Tennessee on October 5th.

Georgia at Texas (7:30 p.m.)

Georgia's trip to Texas is on college football fans' calendars. With a win, Texas is in control of the SEC. A defeat would give Georgia two defeats in mid-October.

However, a UGA win shakes up the SEC race and gives the Big Ten a chance to control the top spot in the national rankings.

UCF at Iowa State (7:30 p.m.)

Like BYU, Iowa State has emerged as a serious threat in the Big 12. The Cyclones haven't played in a one-possession game since their Sept. 7 win at Iowa.
