WWE confirms NXT episode for former ECW Arena

WWE is officially bringing NXT to the former ECW Arena for the first time.

Today it was confirmed that NXT will air live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 6th. While NXT is normally a Tuesday show, it will be moved to Wednesday of this week to avoid running afoul of election night coverage.

Dave Meltzer first reported last week that WWE had booked a date at the former ECW Arena, likely for the November 6th episode of NXT.

Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow (October 22). Presales begin at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (with “NXTLIVE” as the access code) before tickets go on sale to the general public two hours later at 12 p.m.

“The city of Philadelphia has a rich wrestling history and we are excited to bring a night of unforgettable action to such a storied venue,” Shawn Michaels said in a press release.

NXT's new five-year television deal with The CW Network went into effect earlier this month. The first two episodes of the CW era took place on the road before the show returned to the WWE Performance Center last week.

The November 6th episode of NXT will feature a head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, taking place that evening in Manchester, New Hampshire.
