Eva Mendes opens up about cosmetic procedures and her regrets about Botox.

Although Eva was willing to try other procedures, she admitted she wasn't always a fan of the Botox she received. Fortunately, the effects were only temporary.

“When you get Botox, if you don’t like it, it goes away,” she continued. “There have been times when I've regretted something… and then you just wait.”

Many fans were confused and worried about the needles under Eva's chin, but her doctor reposted the photo and explained the purpose.

Earlier this year, Eva also responded to a critic who told her she looked “old” in an Instagram comment.

“Yes you are right. Thank God I'm getting old. “That means I'm still here,” she replied. “I'm about to turn 46 and I'm grateful every day that I'm getting older. Was your comment supposed to make me feel bad? That wasn't the case. It makes me grateful. Thank you for reminding me that I’m still here.”

In February 2021, the creative director of CIRCA Beauty took to Instagram to defend herself against claims that she had “denied plastic surgery allegations” after a follower claimed she was spending less time on the social media platform because she was getting work done.

“I'm not sure why I'm answering you, but here we go. I post less because I really want to be there for my family,” Eva wrote. “My little ones need me and posting takes up too much time. As far as getting the job done. I will do this whenever I please. But no, that's not the reason. The reason for this is that I personally cannot balance family and social media. So – big shock – I choose family.”

Eva shares daughters Esmeralda and Amada with her partner Ryan Goslingwith whom she has been together since 2012. Apparently, in 2022, she confirmed that they had married by showing off a “de Gosling” tattoo – which means “Mrs.” Gosling” — and referred to Ryan, 43, as her “husband.”

The mother of two told us The Sunday Times that Ryan plays an important role in maintaining her confidence.

“I feel really fucking sexy sometimes,” she said. “The way my husband looks at me is just…sometimes I'm like, 'Oh my God.'”

Eva continued: “This may not go over well with people, but a lot of what I feel is a reflection of what he gives me. “There are so many things that can make me sexy, and I would say I feel more sexy than not. I guess because I never considered myself beautiful, but I always felt very sexy.”
