Two Memphis Grizzlies starters are listed on Tuesday's injury report ahead of Wednesday's home game against the Brooklyn Nets (7 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network).

Grizzlies star Ja Morant is listed as questionable due to right thigh pain. Center Zach Edey is on the injury report with right calf soreness.

Edey, Morant and John Konchar (right posterior tibial tendinitis) are all listed as questionable.

Morant has been dealing with soreness since the first leg of a previous meeting against the Houston Rockets on Oct. 25. He survived the injury the following day against the Orlando Magic in the Grizzlies' home opener and missed Monday's 126-123 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

Konchar has missed the last two games. This is the first time Edey has been on the injury report.

The 7-foot-4 rookie man moved well and actively during media observation at practice on Tuesday. He participated in moving shooting drills with Konchar before taking part in an intense rebounding and putback drill with Grizzlies assistant coach Anthony Carter.

Edey's minutes were lower than expected in his first four NBA games. He averages 16 minutes and has exceeded the 20-minute mark in just one contest.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said the way Edey's minutes played out wasn't something that was a reaction to a game. The team prides itself on its flexibility, and Edey is one of those players who could finish games one night and be on the bench cheering on his teammates in a similar situation the next night.

“His head is in great shape,” Jenkins said. “His professionalism really encouraged me to do whatever was asked of him.”

Edey is averaging 7.8 points and five rebounds per game. His numbers may not reflect that, but Edey said he feels good about where he is in his development as an NBA player.

“Every day I watch myself,” he said. “I go back a week and watch myself and how I played. There is a difference. I just have to keep at it and keep going day by day.”
